At AVC Poodles, our puppies are raised as family from day one. As a small, home based breeding program in California, we focus on producing healthy, well socialized Toy Poodles and small Miniature Poodles with exceptional temperaments.
Our puppies are raised inside our home alongside children, cats, and other dogs, giving them a strong foundation before joining their forever families. We prioritize health, temperament, and early socialization, with all parent dogs undergoing comprehensive Embark health and DNA testing.
We believe every puppy deserves a loving home, and every family deserves lifelong support. From the day your puppy is born to the day they come home, we’re committed to helping you find the perfect companion.

Understanding poodle sizes
Toy & Small Miniature Poodles
At AVC Poodles, our program includes both Toy Poodles and small Miniature Poodles. While each puppy is unique, poodles are classified by their height rather than their weight.
Toy Poodles: Under 10 inches tall at the shoulder and typically 6–10 pounds.
Small Miniature Poodles: Over 10 inches and up to 15 inches tall at the shoulder, typically 10–15 pounds.
Adult size can vary depending on genetics and each puppy’s individual development. While we provide our best estimate, no breeder can guarantee an exact adult size.
Puppies Going Home with a Health Guarantee
Welcoming a new puppy into your home is more than just finding a furry companion; it’s about ensuring their health and well-being. Each puppy comes with a health guarantee from a certified veterinarian, offering peace of mind to new owners. This guarantee verifies that the puppy has been thoroughly examined and is free from any serious health concerns at the time of adoption. Alongside this guarantee, you will also receive a health certificate detailing the puppy's current vaccinations and overall health status.
While the initial health check and vaccinations are vital, it’s important to remember that the responsibility for your puppy's ongoing health rests with you, the new owner. Scheduling follow-up veterinary visits is essential to maintain their vaccination schedule and to monitor their development. Regular check-ups will help ensure your puppy matures into a healthy adult dog. By taking these steps, you can provide your new companion with the best possible start in life, ensuring they remain happy and healthy for years to come.
